The Communication Director of BMSJ, Robert Scheer, is an accredited travel journalist. His articles and photographs have appeared in dozens of magazines and newspapers across the USA and Canada. He has visited sacred places and pilgrimage destinations in Australia, Belize, England, Fiji, Hawaii, India, Israel, Kosrae, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru and Scotland, as well as the continental USA and Canada.

The former president of the British Columbia chapter of the Travel Media Association of Canada, Robert is currently a Director of the B.C. Association of Travel Writers. He formerly was editor and publisher of Power Trips, the sacred places travel magazine.
