San Miguel de Allende has a history dating back more than 500 years to before Colonial times, and in 2008 UNESCO named it a World Heritage City.
We will be there in December!
To be precise, our group will go to San Miguel de Allende on December 11th for the annual “Feast of the Virgin of Guadalupe” celebration. But that’s not all. The following day we’ll go to the market and shop for fresh ingredients, which we’ll bring to an authentic Mexican cooking class.
The San Miguel visit is in one of the Optional Extensions of Kathleen McGowan’s “Mary in the Americas” Retreat in Mexico December 6 to 9, 2024.
This will be Kathleen’s 11th annual Mary Magdalene retreat, and as part the program she will give a very special presentation on how the traditions of Mary Magdalene found their way to Mexico, and how they fit into the story of the Madonna of Guadalupe.
The main location for “Mary in the Americas” is in Mexico City, and we still have spaces available, so we hope you will be able to join us.
