The Communication Director of BMSJ, Robert Scheer, is a travel journalist who specializes in writing about sacred sites and places of power, and how travelers may benefit from visiting them. His articles and photographs have appeared in dozens of magazines and newspapers across the USA and Canada. He has visited sacred places and pilgrimage destinations in Australia, Belize, England, Fiji, Hawaii, India, Ireland, Israel, Kosrae, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru and Scotland, as well as the continental USA and Canada.
Robert is the author of “Understanding Sacred Sites“ which is available as a Kindle book on Amazon.
The former president of the British Columbia Association of Travel writers (BCATW), Robert was also the president of the B.C. chapter of the Travel Media Association of Canada (TMAC).
