Viewers of the “Curse of Oak Island” TV series know the theory that the Ark of the Covenant was taken by Knights Templar from Jerusalem to a tiny island near Halifax, Nova Scotia. But could it really have happened? And what other treasures might have been hidden by the Templars?
One researcher who has devoted years to the study of Templar history and lore is Gretchen Cornwall. An expert guest on “Oak Island,” Gretchen was fortunate to have spoken with the late Zena Halpern about her map of the mysterious island, and recently wrote the book, Oak Island’s Mysteries of the Map, House of Rochefoucauld, Templar Statue, Royston Cave.
Gretchen will be leading a tour of Templar sites in England and France this September, and you could join her small group.
