A few days ago, I was scrolling through Facebook when something familiar caught my eye. It was an ad for a tour of the Bosnian Pyramids, and there was a picture of Dr. Sam Osmanagich, the archaeologist who discovered the pyramids. The tour was happening at the Summer Solstice, this coming June.
The reason why I was surprised is because Body Mind Spirit Journeys is also offering a Bosnian Pyramids tour this June, hosted by Dr. Sam.
This other tour even included the same luxury accommodations at the Vema Hotel and Spa in downtown Visoko. It was the same length (8-days/7-nights), and the daily activities were pretty much identical.
So I decided to look deeper into this other Bosnian Pyramids tour, and I got yet another surprise. Their price was about $300 higher than BMSJ’s. And their full fare, $1777 or more, had to be paid up front (unlike our $500 deposit to secure a space).
So if you’ve been thinking about exploring the European pyramid complex that’s larger, older and more perfectly oriented than Egypt’s Great Pyramid, in a group tour led by the man who discovered them, now you don’t have to search to compare prices. I just checked, and ours is lower.
