We often get questions about tours that are not yet available but are still in the planning stages. This newsletter gives you a sneak peek at the biggest ones that we’re currently working on.
Egypt with Kathleen McGowan in 2024
Kathleen says she and Nasser Abo Nazer are currently planning two Egypt tours for the first half of next year. One will be an in-depth overview with at least one big difference that will separate it from other Egypt tours…
All temple visits will be private!
“We feel the only way we can give the deepest experiences is to be in the temples privately,” she said. An added bonus is that by scheduling private temple visits for earlier morning or later evening times, it avoids the mid-day heat.
Next year’s Nile cruise will be even more luxurious, as Kathleen is working on booking accommodations in the Benben hotel, Aswan (pictured in both photos above). It’s a five-star property in a spectacular setting, overlooking the Philae Temple.
The exact dates of the two Egypt tours are uncertain at this point, as they depend on hotel availability and when Ramadan will happen, but projections are that one will be in late February or early March, and the other in early April.
Kathleen may also have a tour to Turkey in May of next year.
Santa Fe in December
Happening later this year will be Kathleen’s annual “Magdalene Movement” retreat in December, 2023. The likely dates are in early December, and we’re pretty sure it’s happening in the Santa Fe, New Mexico region. As with the Egypt tours, registration should be opened in the coming months.
2024 UK Tours
Our 2023 programs to Ireland, England and Scotland sold out very quickly, so we are confident that 2024 will see repeats of those very popular small group pilgrimages. We generally have these UK tours available for registration in October.
