On July 21, 1798, Napoleon Bonaparte led the French army in the Battle of the Pyramids, wiping out almost the entire Ottoman army in Egypt. Days later, the emperor visited Giza and marveled at the Great Pyramid.
According to legend, Bonaparte was determined to spend a night alone inside the King’s Chamber. Bravely, he entered the Great Pyramid with only one candle to light his way.
The next morning, Napoleon emerged pale and shaken. He refused to discuss any details about what he experienced. It was only when he lay on his death bed 23 years later that he began to speak about his experience in the Pyramid. But then he stopped, saying “What’s the use. You would never believe me.”
Is the story true? Napoleon’s assistant, Louis Antoine Fauvelet de Bourrienne later reported that Bonaparte never went inside the Pyramid.
Regardless of what Napoleon may have done, you can experience the Great Pyramid for yourself this October, and get a private entrance into the King’s Chamber, where you can connect with the timeless energies.
Going into the Great Pyramid is just one of dozens of bucket-list experiences waiting for you in a tour of Egypt Jordan and Malta, October 4 through 25, 2022.
In Petra, Jordan, you can visit the enormous, ornate carved sandstone temple dating back to the first century A.D. that was a dramatic background for “Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.”
On the Mediterranean island of Malta, you can visit the oldest standing man-made structures on earth. The megalithic temple known as the Hypogeum dates back to 4000 B.C.
A 1903 archaeological dig revealed a wonderful figurine of a woman lying on her side. The “Sleeping Lady of Malta” was carved circa 3600 – 2500 B.C. and was found within the womb-like Hypogeum that many believe was a sacred place used for the ancient healing art of dream incubation, when the divine would intercede and lend guidance or inspiration while the subject was asleep.
Hosting our Egypt, Jordan and Malta small group tour will be Nancy Auspelmyer and Dr. Ling Chen. Nancy is an author, astrologer, teacher, and intuitive life journey guide, while Ling teaches alternative healing practices and techniques.
