In Peru near the shore of Lake Titicaca is an enigmatic stone carving said to be a doorway that opens into another dimension.
In 1998, I was one of the first people to visit the site as part of a small group on a Body Mind Spirit Journeys tour. We were fortunate to meet the man who had recently discovered the formation known as Aramu Muru’s Portal.
Jorge Luis Delgado was a local tour guide. He told us the area is known as the House of the Spirits because it is where shamans come to communicate with other-worldly beings.
When I sat in the portal, I didn’t experience anything other-worldly, but at least one member of our group did.
She told me that when she knelt in the rock niche she lost body consciousness, saw a bright light, felt overpowered by Unconditional Love, and received a vision about her life’s work.
