TOUR ITINERARY

Day 1 Wednesday, November 23 – Sedona (D)

Transfer to Sedona, the land long considered important by many cultures for its spiritual powers and stunning Red Rock Canyons. This area was home to the ancient Sinagua people, and is rich with their cliff dwellings and ancient petroglyphs. After checking into your accommodations, we will have a welcome dinner. After dinner you will meet your guide for an opening Introduction to your Sacred Sedona Tour followed by a meditation that will open our hearts to Spirit and connect us to the land, setting the tone for the rest of the journey. Overnight in Sedona.

Day 2 Thursday, November 24 – Sedona Vortex Energy Tour. Native American Spiritual Gathering. Medicine Wheel (B)

You begin your day with your guide who will lead this tour. Depart by jeep on a vortex tour. What is a Vortex? A Vortex is a place where energy goes in and/or out of a system. Examples of Vortexes are chakras and acupuncture points in our body, or galaxies and black holes in the Universe. Our Earth’s Vortexes are found in many places around the planet. Here in Sedona, there are various energies, and when in proximity to these places, you may be affected to varying degrees, ranging from being more relaxed to being meditative. We will journey to the several of the major vortexes, as Sedona itself is one big Vortex of energy. Your guide will facilitate a beautiful meditation, which will allow you to connect more deeply with the energies of this magical land. Lunch is on your own

In the afternoon we will travel by jeep with our guide to a remote area out in the western canyons. Upon getting out of the jeeps, your spiritual guide spreads out blankets and talks about the history and medicine of the Native Americans. It starts with a Blessing and Smudging ceremony. Your guide will also talk about some of the plants indigenous to the area, and how they were used by the early Indigenous. We will be learning about the Medicine Wheel, which is a symbol used for meditation and prayer by Native Americans in order to gain further understanding of the interrelationship of every aspect of creation. With the help of your guide you will focus on your personal vision, healing or other spiritual intentions. Before dinner, there is an optional QiGong program with its gentle, rhythmic exercises that mirror the movements of nature, especially the fluidity of water. Combined with simple breathing techniques, QiGong is uniquely suited to relieving stress, boosting the immune system, and increasing the body’s innate healing abilities. Dinner will be on your own. Day 3 Friday, November 25 – Visit to the Prophecy Rock (B/L)

Leave this morning for Prophecy Rock, a petroglyph looming near the Four Corners, in Arizona, which chronicles the destiny of mankind in Hopi hieroglyphics. According to this petroglyph and Hopi Prophecy, you are standing at a crossroads with the fate of the entire race of man hanging on the one all-important question: do we return to the Sacred Circle (Spiritual Life) and the life of harmony and abundance or does one take the jagged road, leading us further and further from the spiritual path? Our Hopi guide will interpret the petroglyph for us, explaining the prophecies of this ancient people. Feel the powerful spiritual energy rising from the ground of this sacred place. Early evening return to Sedona, where dinner is on your own. Overnight Sedona.

Day 4 Saturday, November 26 – Morning at leisure or Optional half day at the Spa. Farewell dinner (B/D)

Morning at leisure to relax, explore, shop, schedule an intuitive reading or get your aura photographed. A special option is to enjoy a half day treating yourself to a rejuvenating and refreshing Spa experience.

In the Afternoon, walk a labyrinth, an ancient form of a walking meditation. A labyrinth has only one unicursal path; the way in is the way out. A labyrinth is a right brain task involving intuition and creativity. With a maze many choices must be made to find the center. With a labyrinth there is only one choice to be made – the choice is to enter or not; the choice is whether or not to walk a spiritual path. At its most basic level the labyrinth is a metaphor for the journey to the center of your deepest self and back out into the world with a broadened understanding of who you are. As our last afternoon together here in Sedona, let’s set a new intention for ourselves moving forward in our lives. We conclude our journey with a Farewell Dinner and evening meditation circle. Dinner is at a fabulous Sedona eatery known for its culinary innovation and its health conscious-inspired menu where there are plenty of options catering to an array of diets. After dinner, gather for one last time with our guide for a closing meditation and contemplation. What a refreshing way to end your stay in Sedona! Overnight Sedona.

Day 5 Sunday, November 27 – Departure (B)

After breakfast depart for Phoenix to connect with your flight home.

Per our Terms and Conditions, registration for the tour will be held open until 4 weeks before the departure date in order to try to match everyone with a roommate. If, by that date, we have not been able to match you with a suitable roommate, you will be responsible to pay for the single supplement. An early registration will facilitate this process.
