Day 1 – BANGKOK – SIEM REAP (no meals)
Arrive at Siem Reap airport and transfer to the hotel
Morning: Visit the South Gate of Angkor Thom, Bayon, Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, Elephants Terrace and the Terrace of the Leper King.
Afternoon: Visit Angkor Wat until sunset.
Day 2 – SIEM REAP (B)
Morning: After breakfast, visit the Kravan, Pre Rup, Mebon Oriental, Ta Som, Neak Pean and Preah Khan temples.
Afternoon: Visit Srah Srang, Ta Prohm, Takeo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda temples and view the sunset from Phnom Bakheng hill.
Day 03 – SIEM REAP – HO CHI MINH (B)
Morning: After breakfast, transfer to Siem Reap airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh.
Arrive in Ho Chi Minh by VN822 (0930-1040) and transfer to the Equatorial Hotel or similar.
Afternoon: Ho Chi Minh city tour, visit to Cholon with its Thien Hau Pagoda and former Presidential Palace.
Day 4 – Ho Chi Minh – Tay Ninh/Cu Chi (B)
Breakfast
Morning: Visit Tay Ninh, the center of the Cao-Daism religion which was founded in 1926 and combines Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism and Confucianism.
Afternoon: On the way back to Ho Chi Minh visit Cu Chi, 45 miles from the city, to see the amazing complex of underground tunnels used during the Vietnam war.
Day 5 – Ho Chi Minh – My Tho (B)
Breakfast
Excursion to My Tho, 2 hours’ drive from Ho Chi Minh City; My Tho is a prosperous own of 100,000 inhabitants of the Mekong Delta, also the first town in the Mekong River. It is noted for its exuberant orchards and immense rice fields. Enjoy the boat ride on the Mekong River and visit to an orchard.
Visit Vinh Trang pagoda before drive back to Ho Chi Minh.
Day 6 – Ho Chi Minh – Hue (B)
After an early breakfast, transfer to Ho Chi Minh airport.
Depart Ho Chi Minh by VN250 (0650-0810) for Hue.
Arrive in Hue and transfer to the Saigon Morin Hotel or similar.
Boat trip on Perfume River to visit Thien Mu Pagoda and Minh Mang’s tomb.
Afternoon: Visit to Imperial Citadel, Khai Dinh’s tomb and Dong Ba market.
Day 7 – Hue – Hanoi (B)
Following breakfast, transfer to the Hue airport.
Depart Hue by VN246 (1140-1245) for Hanoi.
Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to the Sofitel Plaza Hanoi Hotel.
Afternoon at leisure
Evening: Water puppet show, a unique and famous Vietnamese traditional performance.
Day 8 – Hanoi (B)
Breakfast
Morning: Visit to Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum and his former residence, One Pillar Pagoda & Army Museum.
Afternoon: Visit to Temple of Literature, built in the 11th century as Vietnam’s first university, Quan Thanh Temple & Hoan Kiem lake with Ngoc Son temple in old quarter of Hanoi
Day 9 Hanoi – Halong (B)
Breakfast
Morning: Drive to Halong Bay, 170 km east of Hanoi via Hai Phong. Visit to the Cathedral, Garden theatre, Hang Kenh tapestry, Du Hang Pagoda and Kenh temple and then drive to Halong.
Upon arrive in Halong, check-in at the Heritage or Halong Plaza Hotel.
Day 10 Halong – Hanoi (B)
Breakfast
Morning: Discover Halong Bay, one of the world’s listed natural heritages. “Dragon descending to the sea” as it means in Vietnamese, the picturesque Halong Bay is formed with more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water containing inside numerous beautiful grottoes. A 5-hour boat trip will take you to visit one of the scenic grottoes then continue to find more wonders left by the Creator.
Afternoon: Drive back to Hanoi and transfer to the Sofitel Plaza Hanoi Hotel.
Day 11 Hanoi – departure (B)
After breakfast, transfer to Hanoi airport for flight to next destination.
