Day One – Thurs. July 12 (D)

The tour begins at Heathrow airport, where you are collected and driven to St Ives in Cornwall.  As we journey to Cornwall sight-seeing along the way.  In the afternoon we reach our base in Far West Cornwall where you feel the untamed, remote spirit of a region which has many Neolithic Stone Circle and quoits.

Here you will have a chance to settle in your accommodation, unwind and/or explore St Ives at your own leisure.   St Ives is the perfect place to shop for souvenirs and is renowned for its beautiful stone cottages, cobbled alleys and the artist colony for almost 100 years.  Some of the well known names are Sickert, Whistler, Nicholson, Lanyon, Tate Gallery, Barbara Hepworth sculpture garden, Bernard Leach Pottery and numerous art galleries.

We have a welcome dinner – a chance to meet and get to know the other people in the group.

Day Two – Fri. July 13 (B, D)

Men-an-TolToday we explore the hidden Neolithic stone circles and dolmens on the wild moor land heaving with massive granite tors.  These speak of other, more mysterious times. We visit Lanyon Quoit, Men-An-Tol, Boscaswn-Un, Carn Euny Settlement with the Fogou and Holy Wells.  At these ancient sacred sites we participate in mediation, ritual and dowsing.

Day Three – Sat. July 14 (B, D)

Travel to Marazion where we take a ferry to St Michael’s Mount, an original Benedictine Priory built in the twelfth century, and the beginning of the St Michael and Mary Ley Lines which converge on Glastonbury Tor and Avebury.  Afterwards browse through Marazion which is one of Cornwall’s oldest chartered towns. On the way home we visit the Merry Maidens, a perfect stone circle just outside Penzance

Day Four – Sun. July 15 (B, D)

We journey to where the legend of King Arthur began in North Cornwall from Merlin’s Cave at Tintagel. We see Tintagel where Arthur was reputed to have been born and where truth or legend commenced its journey into the history books.

We will stay in the beautiful village Boscastle with its 16th C quay and 14th C cottages clinging to the hillside.  While in Boscastle we take a look at the Witch Museum.

Day Five – Mon. July 16 (B, D)

In the morning we will visit St Nectan’s Kieve which is a peaceful tropical valley dedicated to St Nectan, a Celtic Saint.  Here we will have an opportunity to connect with nature and the spirits of the place.  Also we see the Rocky Valley “labyrinth” carving that can be seen on the wall.

Day Six – Tue. July 17 (B, D)

In the morning we will leave North Cornwall and drive down to Glastonbury, the gateway to the sacred landscape. On the way down to Glastonbury, we will visit the Merrivale Stone Lines that stand on Dartmoor can be viewed as a huge complex including stone circles, stone rows, avenues, cists and hut circles.    We will be staying at the Swan Hotel in Wells which is over 600 years old, and it overlooks Wells Cathedral, this Cathedral gives you a feel as to what Glastonbury Abbey must have looked like at height of fame.

Day Seven – Wed. July 18(B, D)

Chalice Well, Glastonbury

Today, we will meet Ronald Hutton and spend the day discovering Glastonbury, reliving the past through sites that are rich in timeworn history, sacred heritage, and Arthurian adventure and magic.   We also have a chance to participate in meditations, healings and rituals at the spiritually significant Glastonbury Tor, Chalice Well and Glastonbury Abbey.

Day Eight – Thurs. July 19 (B)

A free full day in Glastonbury or Wells has been allocated, so you can attune to Glastonbury own mysterious and magical energies.  You can enjoy it at your own pace with the freedom to meditate on Glastonbury Tor or the Chalice Gardens or just explore Glastonbury.

Day Nine – Fri. July 20 (B, D)

Leaving Glastonbury, we will journey to Salisbury where we visit Salisbury Cathedral.  At lunch we meet Caitlin Matthews, this is followed by a three-hour workshop with Caitlin. (Blessings of the Ancestors:   From our immediate family to the deep collective ancestors who are the foremothers and forefathers of us all, the ancestors have become a mystery to modern society. Caitlín shares practical ways of making reconnection with them, approaching the ancestral wisdom and how we start to listen to it once more.)  After working with Ancestors, we reconnect with a ritual at the center of Stonehenge conducted by Caitlin Matthews.

Day Ten – Sat. July 21 (B, D)

Stonehenge spiritual tourWe start our day with an early morning ritual at the centre of Stonehenge which will be conducted by Caitlin Matthews. Then head back to Bed & Breakfast for beautiful breakfast.  After breakfast, we will spend the day exploring the Crop Circles the phenomenon of these mysterious Crop Circles.  Whilst in the circles you will have opportunities to meditate and feel the energies of these wondrous creations.

Then we will visit Savernake Forest which is one of the remaining forests that is over 1000 years old which allows us to imagine when England once was covered by these forests.  Within quiet of the forest, we explore a chance to meditate and experience a ritual honoring the earth.

Day Eleven – Sun. July 22 (B, D)

We journey to Avebury, West Kennet Long Barrow and Silbury Hill which is the largest prehistoric man-made hill in Europe where we will meet with Peter Knight to explore this sacred landscape. We will have an opportunity to dowse the St Michael and Mary ley lines.

Day Twelve – Mon. July 23 (B)

Our memorable “Immrama” ends by returning to Heathrow Airport.  You may choose to extend your stay in England to enjoy many more places.
