Itinerary #1
Check into your London hotel and then in the afternoon, you’ll depart for a tour to experience London’s West End, including a look at Buckingham Palace, Trafalgar Square, Piccadilly Square and a guided tour of Westminster Abbey, an architectural masterpiece of the 13th to 16th centuries that presents a unique pageant of British history – the shrine of St Edward the Confessor, the tombs of kings and queens, and countless memorials to the famous and the great. It has been the setting for every Coronation since 1066 CE, as well as for numerous other royal occasions. King Henry III, rebuilt Westminster Abbey in 1245. Afterwards, you will be transferred to the pier for your evening dinner cruise on the Thames River. As you step on-board your floating River Restaurant, we start to sail gliding on the River as London’s landmarks are even more impressive at night. With their bright lights and dreamlike quality, the ever changing backdrop is simply mesmerizing as we sail under Tower Bridge, down towards the Thames Barrier and past the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. Dinner is served and a live band sets the mood with gentle background music. After disembarking, you’ll return to your hotel by coach.

Pre Congress Tour #2: July 12 from London
Highlights Avebury, Castle Combe and onto Bath

Includes:
● Transportation to Bath visiting Avebury and a stop in quaint Castle Combe
● Escorted throughout
● Transportation by deluxe motor coach
● Lunch in Castle Combe
● Sightseeing entrance fees

Itinerary #2
After breakfast, you will board our coach to Avebury, with its largest stone circle, built 5,000 years ago. It’s the megalithic capital of Britain with its awesome bank and ditch, and inner circles. Avebury and Stonhenge are now viewed as being parts of one whole sacred prehistoric landscape complex. Here we can explore in wonder of the thought forms and the world of the Neolithic peoples. We will also take a quick walk down to visit the “Tolkein Tree” where it is said JRR Tolkein would take naps – and was the inspiration for Middle Earth. Continue to Castle Combe for lunch. From magnificent Gothic cathedrals and fairytale-like towns and villages to large fortresses that dot the landscape, England’s architecture of the medieval era offers a clear look back into history. Castle Combe is a small Cotswold village that has been dubbed one of the prettiest in all of England. This perfectly preserved slice of medieval history and architecture looks like something ripped straight out of the pages of a folktale, and it is believed that the area was settled by Celts in ancient times, when the first fortification was constructed. According to most accounts, the village owes part of its name to a wooded hill and Norman bailey castle, of which little remains these days, though there are earthworks that show where it once proudly stood.  You‘ll have a quick lunch and some free time to explore before continuing to Bath for your overnight.

Itinerary #3
A very special day as we will see and feel the spectacular, atmospheric and contrasting giant megalithic temple this morning **. On today’s memorable journey, we will start early in Stonehenge, England’s most famous monument and a testament to the scientific and engineering skills of the Bronze Age. This enigmatic site remains one of the great mysteries of the ancient world. In addition to a private entrance for meditation, we will explore the many theories behind the construction and purpose. Those who are sensitive to these massive temples claim that the megalithic blocks are constantly radiating tremendous amounts of energy. One legend maintains that the massive blocks were brought from Ireland and set into place by the greatest Druid of them all – Merlin! We return to your hotel for breakfast and time to refresh ourselves before we leave for Glastonbury and a visit to Wearyall Hill – the traditional resting place of St Joseph of Arimathea and the site of the original Holy Thorn of Glastonbury. Then on to the beautiful Chalice Well Garden, where over the millennia, the waters of a natural primary water spring have made a holy place for Christian and Pagan alike. Chalice Well is a place of quietness and reflection, where you can partake of the waters of this healing spring. Continue to the Glastonbury Abbey, built on ancient holy ground. Here we explore the remains of this large and magnificent Benedictine monastery, dissolved by Henry VIII in the 1500s and allowed to go to ruin. Joseph of Arimathea, founded this most famous Abbey at Glastonbury; which was the first Christian church in the world, and by the large endowments settled upon it afterwards by the Christian princes, it became one of the richest monasteries in Christendom. We also visit Gog and Magog, two giant oak trees, the sole survivors of an ancient Druid grove and ceremonial path. Gog, at least 1,500 years old, is now virtually dead, but still stands, while Magog survives. Along the way you’ll investigate the ancient world of the Great Goddess, the legend of the Holy Grail, earth mysteries, ley lines and earth energies, the sacred geometry of the Abbey, and the theory that the landscape around Glastonbury is shaped in the form of the twelve signs of the zodiac constellations. Return to your hotel for our overnight and dinner.
** As Stonehenge limits entrance to the Inner Circle to 30 travelers, we will be dividing the group into three entrances, with two on July 17 and the third entrance on July 18, so we all can view the Temples in the early morning hours.

Both Stonehenge tours are sold out but reservations are still being accepted for Tour #3 without Stonehenge. Let us know if you want to be added to a wait list.

Itinerary #4
StonehengeThe 3rd group departs for Stonehenge ** early this morning and returns to your hotel for breakfast and time to freshen up. Afterwards we take about an hour’s drive to Salisbury where we will see England’s tallest spire, Then to Old Sarum, the original iron-age settlement of Salisbury and the magnificent Salisbury Cathedral to view the original copy of the Magna Carta. Afterwards to Glastonbury with a lunch stop along the way. After lunch we start our touring at the magical hill known as Glastonbury Tor, where the Michael and Mary energy lines “kiss.” It is said there was a Labyrinth here which dated back to the Megalithic era…the same time as the building of Stonehenge and Avebury. You will walk to the top of the Tor, where there is a monument to the Archangel Michael, before continuing on. For those who do not want to take the walk, there is much to do in Glastonbury – it’s one of Britain’s major spiritual sites. Wonderful shops and bookstores line the streets. Afterwards, we return to your hotel in Bath for dinner and overnight.
** As Stonehenge limits entrance to the Inner Circle to 30 travelers, we will be dividing the group into three entrances, with two on July 17 and the third entrance on July 18, so we all can view the Temples in the early morning hours.

Travel Insurance
As travel professionals, Body Mind Spirit Journeys highly recommends travel insurance. Sometimes unexpected circumstances can arise. A sudden emergency just before or during your trip could spoil your vacation and deplete your resources.

We have recently seen some of our valued travelers lose not only their non-refundable deposits, but also their entire tour payments because they hoped they would not need trip cancellation insurance.

You should protect your trip investment and yourself in regards to health, property and trip payments. That is why we provide you with an easy way to contact BMSJ’s preferred insurance provider, Allianz Global Assistance. If you need additional information or have questions, please call Allianz directly at 1-800-284-8300, and refer to code F025323.

BMSJ will be sending you additional details and a brochure with your confirmation on trip cancellation/interruption insurance.
