You arrive in Egypt not just by plane, but by destiny. From the first glimpse of the Nile flowing beneath Cairo’s lights, something ancient begins to stir — a memory, a calling, a vibration that says: You’ve been here before.
Our team greets you at the airport and ensures your arrival is seamless. You are brought to the luxurious Fairmont El Nile, where your room overlooks the river that has carried the secrets of time for millennia. Here, in the shadow of the eternal waters, you are gently welcomed into a different rhythm — one of myth, magic, and sacred purpose.
In the evening, we gather for our Welcome Dinner, a joyful initiation into the community we will become. Here, you will meet your guides and fellow pilgrims — those who have been called to walk this path with you. Stories begin to unfold. Laughter softens the edges of travel. And the Spirit of Egypt begins to speak. The journey begins with your presence. Tonight, simply receive. Rest. Arrive. Welcome.
Day 2 – March 20: In Cairo: The Day of Divine Balance — Equinox Sunset at the Sphinx. Private Ceremony Between the Paws and Sunset Viewing from the Great Pyramid Inn (B/L/D)
Today, we step into one of Egypt’s most profound celestial alignments — and into the gaze of the lioness who guards the gateway to light. After a restful morning, we gather for a spectacular lunch at the 9 Pyramids Lounge — a location so close to the Giza Plateau that it feels as though the pyramids themselves are dining with us. From this elevated terrace, we absorb a panoramic view that includes all nine pyramids of Giza, seamlessly merging past grandeur with present awe.
Then we descend into the mystery. This is the Vernal Equinox, a moment of perfect balance between day and night. And only twice a year does the setting sun align directly with the gaze of the Great Sphinx, bathing her timeless face in golden fire. It is no coincidence that we are here for this. With private access to the sacred enclosure, we step between her paws and into a living temple. Here we honor not only the Sphinx as guardian of the threshold, but also her hidden identity as the goddess Tefnut: lioness of moisture, bringer of sacred water, who rises from the desert to restore life. Daughter of Atum, twin of Shu, and goddess of elemental balance, Tefnut represents the sacred return: of rain, of memory, of the soul’s original clarity.
Our Equinox Ceremony here is one of renewal, of offering, and of alignment. Through silence, sound, and sacred intention, we attune ourselves to the solar codes written in stone.
As the light begins to shift, we make our way to the Great Pyramid Inn rooftop, drinks in hand, for a view few on Earth ever receive: the sunset perfectly balanced upon the Sphinx’s crown, signaling the end of one cycle, and the beginning of another.
This is not a legend. This is the living light of Egypt, and it now lives in you.
Day 3 – March 21: In Cairo: To Saqqara — Into the Mystery Beneath the Sand… the Step Pyramid, Pyramid Texts of Unas & The Inexplicable Serapeum (B/L/D)
There are places in Egypt where the mystery lies just beneath the surface. And then there is Saqqara — where the sands themselves seem to whisper forgotten truths, and the stones rise like echoes of the First Time. We journey south to the vast necropolis of Saqqara, spiritual predecessor to Giza, and a landscape where the world’s first monumental stone building still stands: the legendary Step Pyramid of Djoser, designed by the high priest, healer, and visionary Imhotep. This is where it all began — the codification of sacred architecture, cosmic alignment, and divine kingship on Earth. But this is only the beginning. We descend next into the Pyramid of Unas, whose walls are inscribed with the oldest known sacred texts in the world — the Pyramid Texts. These ancient incantations, spells, and star-laced hymns were never meant for the living. They were composed as celestial maps, assisting the soul of the pharaoh in returning to the stars. As we walk through the narrow stone passage, surrounded by these original codes of resurrection, we are not just witnesses — we are participants in an ancient rite. And then… we enter one of the great unsolved enigmas of Egypt. The Serapeum.
Beneath the surface of Saqqara lies a subterranean world carved in darkness — a massive tunnel system that houses 24 granite sarcophagi, each weighing over 60 tons. These box-like monuments defy explanation. Their precision, size, and placement seem technologically impossible, even by modern standards. Who built them? Why? How? Scholars speculate — but the Serapeum remains one of Egypt’s most electrifying and disorienting mysteries. Some say they were tombs for sacred bulls. Others believe they are vibrational chambers. But those who walk among them with open hearts know: this is a place where the veil between worlds is thin.
Here, we move in silence. In awe. In reverence for the unknown. Afterward, we gather for a late lunch at The Blue Lotus, a serene oasis where we begin to integrate the day’s revelations or simply share in the mystery with your fellow travelers. Today, Egypt doesn’t just show you her beauty. She shows you what cannot be explained — and invites you to listen anyway.
Day 4 – March 22: In Cairo: Day 4 – March 22: The Crown of Civilization & the Chamber of Resonance, The Grand Egyptian Museum. A “Birthday Celebration” Lunch. Private Ceremony in the Great Pyramid
Today, we stand between two mirrors: One reflecting the visible achievements of Egyptian civilization, and the other, the invisible map of the soul. We begin our day at the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), the largest and most advanced museum ever built to house the legacy of a single civilization. This astonishing structure stands just beyond the shadow of the Great Pyramid, as if the ancients themselves sanctioned this new temple of memory. It cost one billion dollars and almost twenty years to create. Here, in these vast halls of light and history, we trace the sacred lineage of Egypt: Golden artifacts of Tutankhamun, seen now as never before in a collection of 5000 pieces; sacred statues and tools of initiation from temples we are about to enter. Lunch included in the GEM.
As golden hour approaches, we return to the Giza Plateau for our most sacred encounter yet: private entrance into the Great Pyramid. With the site closed to the public, we move through its dark ascending passages like initiates — focused on breath, sound, and the intention to awaken. Inside the King’s Chamber, resonance becomes revelation. Here, we will conduct a sound activation ceremony, led by Nasser, Jeremiah, and Kathleen. Vibrations will move through the granite. The harmonics of ancient Egypt, tuned to the geometry of the cosmos, will meet the harmonics of your soul. Some have reported visions. Some feel waves of profound peace and awakening. And some, literal physical healings — of long-held pain, of chronic ailments, of emotional burdens. The stone listens. And when the tones align… the impossible becomes possible.
This is mystery, reawakened. Tonight, you will know why Egypt called you.
Day 5 – March 23: To Faiyum City: To the Whale Valley, Wadi Al-Hitau – Temple of Silence, Sea & Stone and Desert Initiation (B/L/D)
Today we leave the city behind — and enter the stillness of the desert as we travel west toward Faiyum, once a lush oasis which some believe was the original Garden of Eden. Here, the sacred meets the surreal at Wadi Al-Hitan, or “Whale Valley” — a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most astonishing fossil fields on Earth. Scattered across this arid land lie the preserved skeletons of massive prehistoric whales — some over 40 million years old. These were once ocean beings, now resting in desert stone, their bones shaped like spirals, as if they carry the geometry of galaxies. They are guardians of transformation, silent witnesses to the shifting epochs of Earth itself.
Here, we will take time for personal reflection and guided desert meditation. You may walk alone among the ancient forms, or sit in a circle with the group, grounding into the sand and letting the vastness speak. For many, this is one of the most unexpectedly emotional days — a meeting with deep inner stillness, and the awe of life’s continuity.
A picnic-style lunch and desert tea offer a perfect pause before we return to the Faiyum region to rest and reflect. Tonight, under the stars, we gather for dinner and gentle integration.
Day 6 – March 24: In Faiyum: Renenutet, The Hidden Goddess of Destiny & Harvest. The Medinet Madi Temple and a Sacred Feminine Immersion (B/L/D)
Today, we walk into the heart of one of Egypt’s best-kept spiritual secrets — a temple rarely seen, but unforgettable once touched. In the southwestern region of Faiyum, far from the tourist path, lies the temple of Medinet Madi, consecrated to the goddess Renenutet — a cobra-headed deity of harvest, destiny, nourishment, and divine timing. Her presence coils gently through the sacred texts, often eclipsed by more prominent deities, but here she rises in her full majesty. Renenutet is a goddess of provision — she who ensures that what is planted comes to fruition. But she is also the goddess of fate, guardian of your shetay — the soul’s divine blueprint.
As we walk through the gates of Medinet Madi, you may feel something watching. Not with judgment, but with ancient awareness. This is a place where the veil between the mysteries of the feminine and the truth of your own becoming is exquisitely thin. We’ll gather here for a guided invocation to the Cobra Goddess, later known as an aspect of Isis, with an offering of flowers, breath, and gratitude. Those called to the Divine Feminine will find this temple deeply activating. Lunch and dinner will be shared in Faiyum, with time for reflection and sharing. This evening is a perfect moment to write a journal, dream, or be still beneath the desert sky.
Day 7 – March 25: To El Minya. Visit the Painted Journeys & the Temple in the Rock. and the Beni Hassan Tombs. To Istabl Antar – Temple of Hatshepsut (B/L/D)
Today, we journey to El Minya, the halfway point between the known and the hidden — and a place where life and afterlife converge in vivid color and sacred stone. Our path takes us to the tombs of Beni Hassan, a Middle Kingdom necropolis carved into the cliffs above the Nile. These tombs, belonging to regional governors and noble families, are adorned with stunning paintings unlike anything else in Egypt — vibrant, expressive, and uncannily alive after nearly 4,000 years. Here, we witness scenes of everyday life — farming, fishing, games, dance — rendered with stunning clarity and nuance. But look closer, and something deeper emerges: these are not just images of life… they are manuals for eternity. Each wall tells a story of what it meant to live well, die well, and continue with dignity into the unseen realms. Beni Hassan is a testament to the spiritual intelligence of the Middle Kingdom, often overlooked in favor of later grandeur, yet
here, you will feel the presence of people who lived in reverence, beauty, and order. The artistry is not just decoration. It is instruction for the soul.
From there, we continue to the nearby site known as Istabl Antar, or “the Stable of Antar” — a name passed down by local tradition. What lies here is a little-known temple carved into the limestone cliff, attributed to none other than Queen Hatshepsut, Egypt’s great female pharaoh and master temple builder.
We gather for lunch and dinner in El Minya, and rest comfortably at our resort accommodations
Day 8 – March 26: To Hermopolis Magna – The Temple of Thoth & the Blue Lotus of Memory City of Tuna el-Gebel Necropolis (B/L/D)
Today we arrive in Hermopolis Magna, the legendary city of Thoth — master of sacred language, keeper of divine law, architect of magic, consort of the great goddess Seshat, and source of the Emerald Tablets.
Known to the ancient Egyptians as Khmunu, Hermopolis was a cultural and spiritual powerhouse, the place where it was believed that creation began through the act of divine speech. Here, the cosmos was ordered through sound, word, and form — and Thoth, in his ibis-headed aspect, was the divine scribe who recorded all that came into being. We begin at Tuna el-Gebel, the necropolis that housed the high priests of Thoth and initiates into his mysteries. Within these stone chambers, we visit the remarkable tomb of Petosiris, filled with hybrid Greco-Egyptian inscriptions and symbols, a visual merging of worlds and paradigms. Nearby lies the tomb of Ankhefenkhons, another priest of Thoth, whose presence is still felt in the stones. These tombs are more than memorials — they are portals of thought, myth, and soul-memory, designed to activate the sleeping codes of consciousness. For those on the Hermetic path, this is sacred ground. From here we travel to a sanctuary of modern vision and ancient remembrance: the New Hermopolis EcoVillage. Founded by visionary Egyptian scholar Dr. Mervat Nasser, New Hermopolis is a living homage to the principles of balance, beauty, and renewal that once animated the original Hermopolis. This tranquil oasis welcomes us for a farm-to-table lunch, where everything is infused with intention and authenticity. A most extraordinary feature here is the Blue Lotus Pool, a sacred site where true Egyptian blue lotus oil is still made by hand, according to ancient processes. This is no commercial imitation. The pool itself is alive, a breathing altar to the flower of rebirth, intuition, and dreamwork.
Hermopolis is more than a city. It is a frequency that calls those who are ready to be initiated.
Day 9 – March 27: To Akhetaten – The Lost City of Light, Amarna, Royal Tombs and Solar Temples Board our Dahabiya cruise boats for our journey on the Nile (B/L/D)
Today we walk into a dream once made manifest, a city carved not for conquest, but for divine union with the Light itself. This is Akhetaten, “The Horizon of the Aten,” the visionary capital of Pharaoh Akhenaten and his queen, Nefertiti. For a brief and luminous moment, they reimagined Egypt in the image of spiritual intimacy where the Aten, the solar disc, was the source of all life, and where love and light replaced fear and hierarchy.
But Akhenaten did not walk this path alone. Nefertiti was more than his consort — she was his co-ruler, depicted in art as his equal, wearing the blue crown of kingship, making offerings to the Aten with her own hands. Together, they ruled not through dominance, but through devotion. Their six daughters, often shown in loving family scenes, were woven into the royal imagery, suggesting a deliberate celebration of feminine presence, creativity, and enlightenment. This was a world in which the Divine Feminine was not hidden but exalted. A brief utopia of balance, light, and sacred family. We visit the royal tombs carved into
desert cliffs, inscribed with solar hymns and the tender details of daily life. We walk the remains of temples, open-air sanctuaries where sunbeams were the only roof, and prayers rose directly into the sky. And we tread the ghost streets of a vanished city, where the energy of this spiritual revolution still lingers in silence. In the late afternoon, we make our way to the Nile and board our private Dahabiya, our sacred home for the next six nights. These twin sister boats — complete with meditation rooms, hot tubs, stargazing decks, and private chefs — are more than vessels. They are temples of integration, rest, and river-borne magic.
Day 10 – March 28: Cruising the Nile. Deir el-Muharraq – The Sanctuary of the Holy Family Asyut Region. A Pilgrimage to the World’s Oldest Christian Monastery
Today we make a quiet but powerful pilgrimage — not into the grandeur of ancient temples, but into a place of humble miracles and enduring light. We travel to Deir el-Muharraq, nestled near Asyut in Upper Egypt. This sacred site is believed to be one of the most important resting places of the Holy Family: Mary, Joseph, and the infant Jesus, during their years of exile in Egypt. According to Coptic tradition, the family stayed here for six months and five days, protected by the land of Kemet, nourished by its waters, and welcomed by its spirit.
Founded upon the very cave where they are said to have dwelled, Deir el-Muharraq grew into a monastic jewel, with layers of churches, libraries, and stone pathways worn smooth by centuries of prayer. According to sacred Coptic tradition, this is the place where the family lived for over six months, marking the longest continuous stay of their time in Egypt.
But more than that: this is the land that cradled the Christ child through the first year of his life. We walk the grounds where the infant Jesus may have taken his first steps, where Mary prayed, where Joseph dreamed. And as we breathe the incense of centuries, we remember:
Egypt has always been a place of refuge for the divine. The sacred line that runs from Isis and Horus to Mary and Jesus is not a break, it is a continuum. As we return to our floating temple, the dahabiya, we sail onward not just along the river through the living current of spiritual continuity.
Day 11 – March 29: Cruising the Nile. Desert Saints & Living Stones – The Hidden Treasures of Sohag Akhmim. Temple of Min. Statue of Merit-Amun. Sohag Museum. White & Red Monasteries (B/L/D)
Today, we continue our journey along the banks of the Nile and into the ancient spiritual heart of Upper Egypt. This is not the Egypt of golden masks or tourist throngs — it is the Egypt of living monasteries, ancient feminine power, and unbroken devotion. Our first stop is Akhmim, a city of deep antiquity and radiant feminine energy. Here we encounter the colossal statue of Merit-Amun, daughter of Ramses II who held the priestess title God’s Wife of Amun, she is one of the most impressive representations of the Divine Feminine in stone.
Nearby, we visit the Temple of Min, one of Egypt’s oldest cult sites, dedicated to the fertility god Min. His phallic symbols are misunderstood in modern times, but once honored as a symbol of creative potency, renewal, and the spark of divine continuity. From there, we step into a hidden gem: the Sohag Museum. Modest in size but rich in insight, this carefully curated collection offers treasures from the surrounding region, especially from Abydos and Akhmim. Here, you’ll find pieces you won’t see in Cairo. After lunch we visit the White and Red Monasteries, standing proud and eternal in the desert outside Sohag. These Coptic Christian monasteries, among the best-preserved in all Egypt, are not ruins; they are living sanctuaries, where monks still chant, pray, and maintain the flame of devotion lit nearly 1,600 years ago. The White Monastery, built of limestone, is serene and luminous. The Red Monastery, made of rich mudbrick and stone, is intimate and powerful, its chapel adorned with Byzantine-style frescoes so vivid they seem to breathe. This is a day of bridging timelines: of goddesses and monks, of stone and spirit. As the sun sets behind the desert hills, we return to the river carrying new understandings.
Day 12 – March 30: Cruising the Nile. Visit to Abydos – The Temple of Return. A Private Ceremony in the Osirion. Temple of Seti I and the Sacred Union Remembered (B/L/D)
Today, we come home to Abydos, the place where death was not the end, but the turning point of resurrection. In the ancient world, Abydos was the most sacred destination of all, the spiritual heartbeat of Egypt. Pilgrims came from every corner of the land to honor Osiris, whose body was reassembled here by his beloved Isis.
We begin our day with private access to the Osirion, the mysterious megalithic temple buried deep beneath the sands and the centuries. Within its immense stones, one finds the Flower of Life etched into the wall , echoing the harmonic geometry of creation. And it was here, beneath this Flower, that Kathleen and Nasser were joined in sacred marriage three years ago, not as a performance, but as a spiritual union held in the gaze of the gods. This ceremony, rooted in lifetimes of memory, was a direct act of honoring divine masculine and feminine as living truths. This place holds their vows. It holds their love along with the love of Isis and Osiris. And today, our ceremony in the Osirion honors the living continuum of those who endeavor to live in the balance of feminine and maculine. With them today is another native son of Abydos, our Egyptologist Guide, Dr. Adam Abdelaziz, whose family, like Nasser’s, has served and honored this temple for generations. Together, they do not teach Abydos, rather they speak as it.
We ascend to the magnificent Temple of Seti I, often called the most beautifully carved temple in Egypt. We walk the Seven Shrines, each one a to a different kind of wisdom and inner knowing from Ptah and Sekhmet, Re-Horakhty, Amun, Osiris, Isis, Horus, and Seti himself, guided by Adam and Nasser, who grew up among these stones, and Kathleen, who was called back across lifetimes to fulfill a vow here.
But the story of Abydos does not end in antiquity. We will share with you the incredible tale of Omm Sety, born Dorothy Eady in 1904, an Englishwoman whose childhood accident awakened vivid memories of her past life as a priestess in this very temple. Her devotion brought her back to Abydos, where she became a key figure in its 20th-century restoration, offering insights that could not have been known through archaeology alone. Adam and Nasser’s families knew her well and still speak of her as one speaks of a beloved ancestor. Her spirit is with us here. The special nature of this day in Abydos cannot be overstressed, nor can it be duplicated by anyone else! This is living lineage and experience.
Day 13 – March 31: Cruising the Nile. To Dendera and the Temple of Hathor, Keeper of the Stars and Joy Full-Day Immersion in the Temple of the Divine Feminine (B/L/D)
We come to a temple that feels less like stone… and more like song. This is Dendera, sacred to Hathor, the radiant goddess of love, beauty, music, healing, and cosmic rhythm. Her temple is a masterwork of Divine Feminine expression not only in its art and architecture, but in its frequency. It is a University of Sacred Feminine Mystery. Inside, the ceilings are adorned with vibrant astronomical scenes, constellations and lunar cycles, solar boats and zodiac signs, including the famous Dendera Zodiac, an ancient star map that reveals Egypt’s advanced celestial knowledge. We explore the history, the wisdom and the deep spirituality as we also visit the Birthing Rooms and the Isis Chapel.
Day 14 – April 1: Cruising the Nile to Luxor. A Day of Sailing, Healing & Integration aboard the Dahabiya | Sound & Bodywork Sessions | Storytelling & Sacred Circles
After days of immersion in temples, tombs, and timeless truths, today we return to the original sacred space of Egypt — the Nile herself. No temples. No timelines as we spend the day sailing gently north, the wind in the sails, the water beneath. The dahabiya, our elegant twin-ship sanctuary, becomes a space of both communion and solitude. You may choose to rest, read, or gaze at the ever-changing banks of the river. Or you may choose to receive:
- Massage & bodywork with Nasser, whose ancestral healing touch is revered as “the best hands in Egypt.”
- Sound healing activations with Jeremiah da Rosa, using sacred harmonic tones of the temples to release and realign
In the afternoon, Kathleen will be available for storytelling and a group circle. These are often some of the most meaningful conversations, unstructured, organic, mythic. She may share tales of Omm Sety, of Hathor’s mirror, of Egyptian origins of Christian traditions.
Day 15 – April 2: In Luxor: Farewell to the Nile — Thresholds and New Beginnings. (B)
Departures after Breakfast or transfer to Retreat Center for Post-Tour Participants
The morning sun rises over the Nile one last time… but something is different now. You are not the same soul who arrived two weeks ago. You have walked the temples. Spoken to the gods. Remembered things your mind could never know. Today we share a farewell breakfast aboard the dahabiya, giving gratitude to the crew, the river, and one another. For some, this is the day of return: to flights, to cities, to life as it was. But it will never quite be the same. The sacred geometry of Egypt has moved within you. Those departing will be transferred with care to Luxor Airport, guided by our trusted team.
Note: Be sure to book your return home from Luxor
For those continuing, a new doorway opens: You will be transferred to our private retreat center in Luxor, a place of peace, depth, and sacred continuity. There, new rituals await. New stories. A deepening of the work that has just begun. Whether you depart or continue, this is not an ending. The light expands, always.
OPTIONAL LUXOR EXTENSION – April 2-7
The Final Initiation: Egypt’s Inner Temples and the Light of the West
This five-night post-tour extension is designed as a deepening. Here, on the West Bank of Luxor, in the shadow of the Valley of the Kings and Queens, we enter the sacred landscape of eternity and initiation.
We will explore some of the most essential and energetically potent sites in all of Egypt — places of ancient resurrection science, divine kingship, and high priestess power. But unlike the main tour, this experience is held in sacred intimacy, with time to receive, reflect, and truly integrate the magnitude of what has been awakened.
You’ll stay at our private retreat center, nestled into the desert stone, with views of tombs, a rooftop Sekhmet temple, and a pool shimmering under the sun of Thebes. Sessions with Kathleen and Nasser, healing treatments, and sacred circle time are all part of this expanded journey.
Extension Tour Includes:
- 5-nights at an Exclusive Retreat Center on the West Bank of the Nile
- All meals included
- A glass of wine with dinners
- Return flight Luxor to Cairo
- Le Meridian Airport Hotel in Cairo with Dinner voucher
- Sound baths and guided meditations
- Use of our private rooftop temple
Day 16 – April 2: Crossing into the Sacred West (B/L/D)
This morning, we say farewell to our fellow travelers who will depart for home, carrying with them the light of everything we have experienced together. For those remaining, the path continues.
After a local lunch, we cross the Nile and travel to our private retreat center on the West Bank — a place of extraordinary stillness and sacred presence. Here, we are quite literally within the sacred mountain that holds the Valley of the Kings. The energy is palpable.
The afternoon is yours:
– Swim in the pool.
– Book a healing session with Nasser or Jeremiah.
– Rest in the silence of the desert.
– Or climb to the rooftop Sekhmet temple for reflection beneath the timeless sky.
Tonight, we begin our circle of assimilation, opening the space for what this next phase will reveal.
Day 17 – April 3: The Day of the Lioness – Sekhmet and the Seven Gates (B/L/D)
We devote this day to one of the most powerful presences in the Egyptian pantheon: Sekhmet, the lioness of fire, healing, and solar truth. We begin in the Mut Precinct, where over 700 statues of the goddess once stood — Sekhmet in her seated form, known as Mut, partner to Amun, and embodiment of the fierce maternal force of creation and destruction. After a local lunch, we return to the main Karnak complex, entering the sanctuary of Ptah to encounter Sekhmet in her standing form, a statue said to hold her living Ka. Many of our travelers have had life-changing energetic experiences in this dark chamber, face to face with the lioness. The remainder of the day is spent exploring the vast and layered Karnak complex — the Seven Gates, the sacred lake, the hypostyle hall — before returning to the retreat center for dinner and rest.
Day 18 – April 4: Deir el-Medina – The Artists Who Carved Eternity (B/L/D)
Today we honor the sacred craftsmen of Deir el-Medina, the artisans and builders who painted and carved the tombs of the Valley of the Kings. These were initiated masters of sacred geometry and divine proportion, a type of holy artist. We visit their tombs, some of the most stunning in all of Egypt, and then seek what most visitors never find: the hidden Temple of Hathor tucked into the hillside, where the goddess of healing and music still waits in her intimate power,
with stunning images of Isis and her sister Nephthys. We lunch at historic Marsam, built by Howard Carter for the archaeology teams during the excavation of Tutankhamun’s tomb, before heading to the towering Colossi of Memnon, statues over 60 feet high and weighing 700 tons each. No one knows how they were transported or lifted into place. A final stop at an alabaster workshop gives us a hands-on connection to Egypt’s enduring artistry. The evening is free to rest, journal, or stargaze from the rooftop Sekhmet temple with your traveling companions.
Day 19 – April 5: Guardians and Stargates – Nekhbet and the Temple of Esna (B/L/D)
Our day begins at El Kab, home to the small but powerful Temple of Nekhbet, the vulture goddess who protected the pharaohs and watched over sacred birth and rebirth. Her energy is palpable here, and many in our group have had deep personal encounters within her sanctuary. We then journey to the newly restored Temple of Khnum in Esna, a cosmic masterpiece where brilliant pigments and celestial inscriptions have recently emerged from centuries of soot and obscurity. Esna is a sister temple to Denderah, devoted to divine cosmic order. The goddess Nut arches across the ceiling, swallowing the sun and birthing it anew.
We also see a different version of a warrior lioness goddess here, Mehnit, who is also the mother of embodied magic. This is a temple of rebirth, of memory, of the cosmos made visible. It is also a place of powerful manifestation given the creation aspects of Khnum and the magic of his wife Mehnit. We return to the retreat center for dinner and reflection on this, and a manifestation ceremony in the temple for those who wish to capture the energy!
Day 20 – April 6: Return to the Heart – Luxor Temple & Closing Ceremonies (B/L/D)
The morning and early afternoon are open for integration. Swim, journal, rest, or receive sound or bodywork sessions. This is sacred pause before a powerful conclusion. In the golden late afternoon light, we visit Luxor Temple — the temple of divine proportion and sacred harmony. This temple was aligned to represent the human form, the body as a reflection of divine architecture. We move slowly through its inner chambers, letting the journey come full circle. Many say this is where it all clicks — where the initiations of Egypt cohere into embodied truth. We return to the retreat center for dinner and our final closing circle — a sacred ceremony of integration, blessing, and release.
Day 21 – April 7: Departure and Return (B)
After a leisurely breakfast with time to finish packing, we say farewell to the retreat center and to the West Bank. and you are transferred to Luxor Airport for your short flight to Cairo. Though the journey through Egypt ends here, the initiations you’ve received will continue to unfold in every step you take from this day forward.
