The author of the New York Times and globally best-selling book series, The Magdalene Line, Kathleen McGowan has sold over a million books across approximately 100 countries and 40 languages. An expert in both women’s history and ancient mysteries, she frequently appears as an on-air expert in historical, biblical and ancient mysteries for multiple History Channel shows. Her groundbreaking research into the life and legacy of Mary Magdalene has appeared on shows in the US and abroad. Kathleen McGowan is currently compiling thirty years and several thousand pages of research into her forthcoming books on Mary Magdalene’s life in France and how this one woman changed the face of the Western World. Part of this great legacy is an ancient process for manifesting a joyful and fulfilling life which Kathleen shares in her forthcoming books, Secrets of The Magdalene Rose and Sacred Union, Sovereign Heart. She is also working on several books of ancient Egyptian interest and new fiction for 2026.
Special Guest Jeremiah da Rosa
Jeremiah da Rosa is a Juilliard-trained, world-class musician who has evolved into a master-level sound healer. After years of performing internationally, he answered a deeper calling: to use his voice and vibration to facilitate profound transformation and awaken others to their gifts. Jeremiah is sought after to initiate healers and seekers into the Temple of Sound: a lineage and living mystery school of sonic wisdom. He lives by the truth that sound is the first law of manifestation. Jeremiah studies the Egyptian and Magdalene mysteries with Kathleen McGowan onsite in France and Egypt.

RETREAT PROGRAM OVERVIEW

Day 1, Friday, December 4: Retreat Starts at the Milk & Honey Ranch (D)
Arrival on your own to your reserved accommodations in nearby Barton, Texas with both the Austin and Houston airports able to reach the Ranch. (Shuttle & transfer information will be given with confirmation). Time to refresh yourself before your welcome dinner with wine, a program overview for the weekend by Kathleen and the preliminaries of the workshop.
Day 2, Saturday, December 5: Retreat Continues. Morning workshop (B/D)
We will all join for breakfast and a morning of workshops and discussions. Kathleen will give a presentation on The Magdalane Lineage and how the teachings survived for 2000 years, followed by an interactive workshop for understanding the six gates of The Magdalene Rose. NEW (or use the 2025 Palm Springs details) After lunch on our own, we will board our coach for an afternoon tour to explore the ruins at Baton Springs. Here we will visit the historic site of the Native American Settlement dating back thousands of years. Observe the remnants of stone structures and artifacts that reflect early human habitation and learn about the cultural significance of the Springs to indigenous tribes. Return to the Ranch for dinner, an after-dinner glass of wine and some time with Jeremiah.
Day 3, Sunday, December 6: Morning. Our Retreat Continues. In the afternoon, it’s to Salt Lick (B/D)
After breakfast, Kathleen will begin the workshop NEW TEXT
Jeremiah will demonstrate aspects of sound healing and manifestation using his voice and teach us how to find our own vocal vibration. After lunch on our own, we board our coach to take us to the Salt Lick Ranch where we start the late afternoon festivities with some wine tasting in natural rustic beauty. No better way to describe the Salt Lick Cellars. Situated under a majestic Live Oak tree, the Cellars combines the splendor of nature with its lush landscaping and gardens and a relaxed, authentically Texan environment. Here we will enjoy a glass (or two) of our Tempranillo or Mourvedre while surrounded by the same vines that produced the wine! Then our Farewell world-renowned barbecue dinner served with a side of Hill Country hospitality. The Ranch’s family recipes have roots back to the wagon trains in the mid-1800s, which means their family has been delighting folks with their home cooking for over six generations to enjoy the same warm atmosphere and delicious barbecue they savored.
After our dinner we return to our hotel followed by a bit of time with a glass of wine with Kathleen while Jeremiah serenades us with multiple instruments and songs about the women of the Magdalene Lineage!
Day 4- Monday, December 7: Retreat Ends Or stay for an available Optional Tour (B)
We will meet for an early final breakfast and farewell. Wrap-up before departing to our onward destinations.
