Co-Hosted with Patricia Awyan Lehman, expert guide and symbologist who has been instrumental for Kathleen on her recent journeys to Egypt. Together, they are a dynamic duo of knowledge! Joining Kathleen and Patricia on this sacred, thorough exploration of the sacred is musician Ani Williams who will contribute her gorgeous harp and vocal music to enhance and deepen our experiences.

We will see the incomparable Temple of Isis in Philae during our private experience at midnight, and we will celebrate Valentines’s Day with a very special journey into the Osirion in Abydos to connect with the Sacred Geometry of the Flower of Life.
While crusing down the Nile we will experience the great temples of Edfu and Kom Ombo. In Luxor, at night under a full moon, we learn about the symbolism at the heart of Egyptian philosophy during a magical visit to the enigmatic Temple of Man. We experience a special meditation at the Temple of Sekhmet at magnificent Karnak Temple and receive the divine energies of Hathor at Dendera, with an extraordinary explanation by Patricia of the divine ceiling there!
The experience is what makes traveling with Kathleen on a Body Mind Spirit Journey – and sharing it with others of like mind and consciousness – absolutely life-changing.

Time to rest before our Welcome to Egypt dinner with Kathleen & Patricia, and a meeting with our Egyptologist Guide who will be with us throughout our journey.

DAY 2- Thursday, February 10: In Cairo – Giza Plateau (B/D)
Before you leave for your exquisite breakfast, open your door and listen – Feel the energy of the spirits. Listen to your Egyptian brothers and sisters as they greet the day with thanksgiving. Join them as they begin a wonderful day filled with peace! Later in the morning we are off to discover some awesome Wonders of the World. To touch them and to feel them — the Great Sphinx and the Pyramids of the Giza Plateau. We study them inside and out and pay particular attention to the Sphinx with a private visit between the paws of this profoundly powerful spiritual monument. Our Our guide, who is an encyclopedia of Egyptology will give us detailed examinations of various controversial theories surrounding these amazing structures. Here we unite our life story with the story of those who have come before us and those who will come after, as we embrace the transformation that we have experienced. Afterwards return to our hotel to take time to rest and relax at the pool. Or take an Optional camel ride as you imagine traveling through the Egyptian desert in the same fashion as others have done for thousands of years. The entire camel ride will last about two hours with your expert guide showing leading the way. Dinner this evening at our hotel.
DAY 3- Friday, February 11 – Morning in Cairo – Excursion to Saqqara and Serapeum (B/L)
After breakfast, we head for magnificent Sakkara with King Zoser’s Step Pyramid, including entry to the earliest of the major pyramids. Careful exploration of the important Old Kingdom’s noble tombs with their vivid symbolic reliefs, as well as visits to other Sakkara sites, including the Pyramid of Unas with its pristine and spiritually monumental hieroglyphic texts and the stunning Serapeum, a massive underground tomb structure which inspires more questions than answers! We will discuss the many theories about Sakkara, and explore its deeply sacred healing energies. The chief themes of Egyptian sacred science were the creation of the world, and the role of humanity within creation. Egypt’s rich mythology and its profusion of mysterious symbols can be seen as an ingenious method of expressing those twin, interlocked themes. At Sakkara we begin to see these themes in action and will explore them with an emphasis on the role of women. We will have lunch at a picturesque, typically Egyptian restaurant on the route back to our hotel. Time to relax and enjoy our spectacular hotel this evening.
Day 4- Saturday, February 12: In Coptic Cairo: (B/L)
We start our day venturing into Old Cairo where we visit the Coptic Museum housing some of the finest collections of Coptic art dating back to Egypt’s Christian era. The very best part of the tour of this museum are its features of the origin of Coptic Christianity. The mosaics and murals are drawn from churches throughout Egypt and the building itself is a work of art. This museum includes collections of ancient ankhs and Horus-like falcons, stone carvings from the era of the Mamluks, a 6th-century and the 1,600-year-old Coptic book of the Psalms of David. Then to the 4th century Hanging Church or know as the Saint Virgin Mary’s Coptic Orthodox Church. It’s just one of the countless historical and is one of the oldest churches in all of Egypt. Onto the Amr Mosque. The mosque is said to have been built on the site of Amr Ibn el-As’s tent at Fustat, is the oldest existing mosque, not just in Cairo, but the entire African Continent. We end this exciting morning with a visit to the Civilization Museum, known as NMEC. It is the only museum in Egypt that offers the visitor a general overview of all the different historical periods that encompass Egypt and was the site of the Golden Mummies Procession! We will visit the mummies hall with an emphasis on the queens who are here – and feel their incredible charisma and power even in death, including Ahmose-Nefertari, who was deified and worshipped as a goddess. After a late lunch at a local restaurant, we return to our hotel where we have the balance of the day free for independent activities, shopping and dinner on our own. Kathleen will be available for some storytelling in the evening.
Day 5- Sunday, February 13: To Abydos: (B/L/D)
A leisurely morning breakfast before we transfer to the airport for our flight to Sohag. Upon arrival, we will transfer to our accommodations at the very special House of Life in Abydos, considered by many to be the very heart of Egypt. The House of Life Abydos hotel is a health & healing center which was the vision of an astonishing woman known as Omm Sety who remembered vividly her past life as a priestess in Abydos. It lies within walking distance to the incomparable Temple of Sety I, where people came 3500 years ago from all over Egypt to receive healings. After checking into rooms and some lunch, we have a little bit of free time before our evening meditation and ceremony as well as a discussion about Omm Sety and her visions of the eternal nature of the soul. This is Kathleen’s most cherished location in Egypt and she is thrilled to share it with you all. Dinner this evening at our hotel.
Day 6- Monday, February 14: In Abydos – Excursion to Osirion: (B/L/D) – Valentines Day
This morning is Temple Day as we continue our celebration of sacred and eternal love! We will start with a visit to the Seti I Temple, the only temple that has nine Holy of Holies. The carvings and reliefs in this temple are incredibly well-preserved and the essence of this place is unequalled in all of Egypt. Behind this Temple lies the megalithic underground structure known as The Osirion which has several depictions of the Flower of Life on the huge pillars and represented the Egyptian god of resurrection, Osiris. It is said that this is the place where the sister-goddesses Isis and Nephthys “remembered” their brother Osiris following his murder, and it was believed that his head was buried here. The Osirion has been described as “a gigantic construction…built with the most enormous stones that may be seen in Egypt.” We will discuss theories around how deep into antiquity this site may stretch, and why it was considered the most important place in Egypt for thousands of years. We will spend about two hours here on a private visit here, celebrating the love of Isis and Osiris, and the power of love to conquer all obstacles. After lunch, there will be a special lecture/workshop on Egyptian mysticism with Patricia at our hotel followed by dinner and overnight at our hotel.
Day 7- Tuesday, February 15: To Dendera and Luxor (B/D)
Morning departure for Luxor. On our way, we stop in Dendera , the Lourdes of ancient Egypt, consecrated to Hathor, the great goddess in her role of healer, celebrant and mistress of the cycles of time. Here we will visit this incredible Temple, a site some believe should have been listed as one of the ancient wonders of our world! Star maps depicted on the ceilings in this temple, and the replica of famous Dendera Zodiac (the original is displayed at the Louvre in Paris), point to the ancient origins of astrology and superior knowledge of our Solar System. Patricia describes this temple like no other guide in Egypt and it is not to be missed! Continue our drive to Luxor, for our overnight and dinner at our magical hotel in the middle of the Nile!
Day 8- Wednesday, February 16: In Luxor (B/L) – Full Moon
An exciting full day. We start with a visit to Deir el-Medina, he modern Arabic name for the worker’s village (now an archaeological site) which was home to the artisans and craftsmen of Thebes who built and decorated the royal tombs in the nearby Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens. The ancient inhabitants called the village Pa Demi (“the village”) but it was referred to in official correspondence as Set- Ma’at (“The Place of Truth”) because the workers there were thought to be inspired by the gods. We continue to exploration of the Hatshepsut’s Temple. Hatshepsut, meaning ‘Foremost of noble ladies’, is considered the second historically confirmed female pharaoh after Sobekneferu. The temple dedicated to her and built in a semi-circle of cliffs has been described as one of the greatest Egyptian architectural achievements. We will have lunch at Marsam’s, a lovely garden restaurant near the monuments, and time for some shopping (of course always time for shopping on a Kathleen tour), before we return to our hotel for dinner on our own. In the evening, we will visit the Luxor temple to view this magnificent structure under the stars. This beautiful temple was built on the east bank of the Nile by Amenhotep III, “The Magnificent’. With his wife Queen Tiye, whom he dearly loved, he ruled Egypt during the peaceful and stable 18th Dynasty. Kathleen is obsessed with Queen Tiye (mother of Akhenaten and grandmother of Tutankhamun) and will happily talk about her emerging outline for a book about this inspirational queen! Return to our hotel for our overnight.
Day 9- Thursday, February 17: In Luxor. Afternoon board our cruise ship (B/L/D)
This morning we start our day with a visit to the Valley of the Queens where the wives of the Pharaohs are buried. In ancient Egypt it was known as Ta-Set-Neferu, which means “place of beauty.”Not only is this area the final resting place of many Egyptian queens, it also has tombs for other royal family members and some high officials. There are 80 different tombs in the area, but the most famous being that of Queen Nefertari. We end this morning’s touring at The Temple of Ramesses III at Medinet Habu. This complex contains the fascinating and important Temple of the Divine Adoratrice, which Kathleen connects with the Magdalene traditions, to meet some of the most fascinating, powerful – and nearly forgotten – women in Egyptian history. Afterwards we depart for our luxury Nile cruise ship. After checking into our cabins, we have a bit of time to relax before dinner onboard.
Day 10- Friday, February 18: Cruising the Nile – Karnak including Mut Precinct. Onto Esna (B/L/D)
Early morning visit to Karnak, the world’s largest temple, and experience the energies of this expansive testimony to the power of the spirit. Once connected to Luxor Temple, two miles away, by a long avenue of Sphinxes (still partially intact), Karnak is dedicated to the Powers of Creation. Karnak is the theater in which humanity (Luxor) plays out its destiny. It is an incredible collage of Kings and Queens. This was the house of the gods, and their glories were to be celebrated by all. During our visit, we will experience the powerful Chapel of Sekhmet, the goddess who represents the potent and purifying energies of the sun – listen closely for her message to you. After, we will visit the newly opened Precinct of Mut, one of the four main temple enclosures that make up the Karnak Temple Complex, to get up close and personal with more of the divine Sekhmet’s energy! By noon we sail to Esna. Overnight on our Nile Cruise. During our cruise there will be time to relax, as well as some storytelling from Kathleen who will discuss more of her research into the women who were called the God’s Wives.
Day 11- Saturday, February 19: Cruising the Nile – Edfu and Kom Ombo. Onto Aswan (B/L/D)
Early morning visit to Edfu, the best preserved temple of the ancient world consecrated to Horus, the embodiment of the principle of Resurrection. We spend the rest of the day sailing the Nile, waving at the villagers, farmers and fishermen as we slowly glide through the peaceful waters. We stop at Kom Ombo, a famous healing temple in ancient days and now a gloriously picturesque edifice and energy-filled ruins overlooking a bend on the Nile. We will visit the Temples of Sobek & Horus at Kom Ombo. It is here that the ancient initiates would face and learn how to digest their fear & anger (as represented by the crocodile Neter, Sobek), emotions that can severely inhibit our spiritual growth. The temple represents the second chakra, as it is the only one that’s dedicated to polarity, or duality, which is the basis of sexuality, and two gods are associated with it: Sobek, the crocodile god, and Horus. As you face the temple, the right half is dedicated to darkness and the left side to the light. There is much to “digest” here and we will go for it! Overnight on the Nile Cruise.
Day 12- February 20: At Aswan: Day at Elephantine Island & private visit to the Temple of Isis at Midnight (B/L/D)
Today we will spend the day on Elephantine Island, famous in ancient Egypt for its palaces and temples and for the first cataract. We sailed by felucca around the island as our guide points out graffiti written in hieroglyphs on the boulders overlooking the Nile. But the ancient palaces were destroyed by invaders, so much of its history is lost. This evening we will have a private entrance to the Philae at midnight. The Temple is the delicate, elegant, quintessential feminine temple of Isis. Our Egyptian host will share with you this graceful antiquity that was meticulously moved stone by stone from its ancient place of origin on a nearby island. Or take an optional tour to Abu Simbel Optional tour to Abu Simbel: For those who wish to take an optional tour to famed Abu Simbel, there will be a full day tour to this beautiful rock-cut temple in the depths of the Nubian land. The two temples which comprise the site were created during the reign of Ramesses II and it’s been said that it took twenty years to build.
Day 13- February 21: Return to Cairo (B/L)
After a leisurely morning we depart for Bigeh Island to take part in a special Nubian lunch at the well-known Solaih Nubian restaurant. Then transfer to the airport for our flight back to Cairo. Upon arrival, we will drive to our hotel where we have the balance of the day free for independent activities and dinner on our own.
Day 14- February 22: In Cairo Visit to the new Grand Egyptian Museum. Private visit inside Great Pyramid (B/D)
A morning to relax and enjoy the renowned breakfast at the Mena House. In the afternoon we depart for the new Grand Egyptian Museum. Recently completed, the GEM just outside of Cairo on the Giza Plateau (and next door to the Pyramids) will not only be the new crown jewel of Egypt, but it will also be one of the largest, most modern, and most renowned museums in the entire world. We will spend the afternoon in this magnificent structure. Through each of the dazzling main galleries there is enough original and restored works to keep us browsing for the better part of the morning. Afterwards we will have our special Private Visit to the Great Pyramid. Return to our hotel for our farewell dinner and overnight.
