The physical beauty of the small island of Bali is extraordinary, from golden beaches that punctuate the dramatic coastlines to lush inland landscapes of terraced rice paddies to the mountainous peaks of dormant volcanoes.
The original beauty of the island and its fascinating cultural heritage is reflected in stunning array of Hindu temples, which are remarkable for their sheer beauty and often for their physical location, and which are home to exuberant religious observances, including spectacular festivals. Traditional island life has a rich artistic heritage of crafts, dancing, and spiritual celebration that continues to this day. The friendliness of the people, the beauty of the landscape, and the elegance of its temples, make Bali a treasure trove of spiritual discovery and a unique travel destination.
