Inner Quest Church & Body Mind Spirit Journeys present A SPIRITUAL JOURNEY TO MALTA Hosted by the Rev Cindy Fuller May 17-26, 2018Malta tour 2017

The Maltese Islands are considered as Islands of Peace. Malta is steeped in religious history, which has not only helped to build its foundations, but who it is as a nation today. What better place to tour spiritual sites, and discover masterpieces of church architecture and art, than on Islands of Malta with some 7000 years of religious beliefs.

For such a small island, Malta is amazingly rich in history. It’s likely a worldwide contender for the greatest density of historical importance per square mile. Malta is home to the oldest man-made structures on earth – the megalithic temples; it’s tremendously significant as the centuries-old home of the Knights of Saint John; the importance of Malta in WWII can’t be underestimated in terms of geo-political impact; and Malta is one of the few places in the world that is directly and verifiably discussed in the Bible. For Malta was the temporary home of arguably the greatest influence in the spread of Christianity – the Apostle Paul.

Come join Reverend Cindy on this special spiritual journey.

A message from Reverend Cindy

Many years ago, I was very excited to learn that the oldest known places of worship were on Malta.  At that time, Spirit told me we would go there to touch this ancient energy.  And that time is now!

This will be a deep spiritual journey as we connect with man’s original steps on earth. Almost daily, we will visit an ancient site, and touch the energies of our own beginnings.  Then we will take time to relax as we explore other historical sites, absorb the beauty of the land and spend time with the people of Malta today! Temples, Sacred water sites, and simple exploration -This will be an opportunity to begin to see the wonder of our journey as children of God.

Malta … 5,000 BC to 2018 !!!   An Amazing Adventure.

ITINERARY

DAY 1, Thursday, May 17: ATLANTA/MALTA
Depart this evening on our overnight transatlantic flights to Malta.

DAY 2, Friday, May 18: ARRIVAL MALTA (D)
Arrival in Malta and we will be met at the airport and assisted in our transfer to our hotel located at St Paul’s Bay.  Time to refresh ourselves and relax a bit before our welcome dinner. We will be staying at the Dolmen Hotel. The Buġibba Temple, is preserved in the hotel grounds. This is the temple that holds the energy of Abundance and Prosperity! It opens inner gates into a new consciousness of wealth and prosperity. It is easily accessible and free of charge.

DAY 3, Saturday, May 19: EXCURSION TO VALLETTA (B/D)

Valletta city Malta

After breakfast at the hotel, start our day with a tour of Valetta. Valletta is named after the French Grandmaster Jean Parisot De La Valette, who headed the defense of Malta from the Ottoman invasion in 1565. Valletta boasts many buildings from the 16th century, mostly baroque architecture that was built by the Knights of St. John. One could say that Valletta is actually a monument donated by the Knights. Walk to the Upper Barracca Gardens for a panoramic view of the Grand Harbor. Then on to St. John’s Cathedral, Malta’s greatest treasure, featuring the famous painting by Caravaggio. We proceed to the Grand Masters’ Palace. Here we’ll visit the State Rooms, Tapestry Chamber and Armory (based on no State visit and availability). If that occurs, we will visit the Casa Rocca Piccola, which is a stately private home where we can view and experience that Maltese life used to be like in a noble home. Our tour ends with a Spectacular Sound and Vision show of the history of the Maltese Islands. Return to our hotel for dinner.

DAY 4, Sunday, May 20: EXCURSION TO THE BLUE GROTTO (B/L/D)
Today Francis joins us as we start with a visit to Ghar Dalam, The Cave of Darkness, and its fossilized remains of prehistoric animals. Continue to Wied iz-Zurrieq  to explore the Temple of Mnajdra and the Hagar Qim Temple. Mnajdra is a temple that holds Cosmic and Earth time. It aligns the Masculine and Feminine energies. Hagar Qim Temple was built like a clock in a clock to map all time.  After lunch, we then have a boat ride into the Grotto (weather permitting) to view the magnificent underwater flora. Return to our hotel for dinner at our hotel at St Pauls’ Bay.

Day 5, Monday, May 21: TOTARXIEN & HYPOGEUM (B/D)
Today, we drive to the southern part of the island and start with a visit to the complex of megalithic temples of Tarxien, Malta’s most important antiquities. The group here will be split into groups of 10 where one group will visit the Tarxien temples, a school of wisdom, and the first group of 10 will visit the Hypogeum Temples.  The Hal Saflieni Hypogeum is an underground prehistoric burial site considered to be unique in the world. Discovered in 1902 during construction works, the Hal Saflieni Hypogeum is a complex made up of interconnecting rock-cut chambers set on three distinct levels. Earliest remains at the site date back to about 4000BC. Hypogeum helps connect our inner self to the Earth. It was also a school of dream interpretation and telepathic communication. After both temples have been visited we will head down to the fishing village of Marsaxlokk. Marsaxlokk has an old history dating back to the ninth century BC. It was in this bay that the first Phoenicians arriving in Malta landed and set up their businesses. Marsaxlokk’s hill of Tas-Silg was used as a religious site and still contains remains of megalithic temples of the Tarxien phase. Today Marsaxlokk is a charming village with its traditional, brightly painted Luzzus, tasty fish restaurants and its green water. After some relaxing time after lunch we return to our hotel for dinner and overnight.

Day 6, Tuesday, May 22: TO MOSTA, HAGRAT & SKORBA (B/L/D)
mosta church maltaAn early start as Francis joins us and we head straight to Mosta, a fairly large village in the core of the island. The Mosta Church is one of the most concentrated energy spots in Malta, and Francis will guide us through it step by step. The Mosta Dome is the fourth largest dome in the world and an imposing structure. It was designed and built by the architect Georges Grognet de Vasse. It took 27 years to be completed. The architect, who was also a keen archaeologist, built the structure on the same principles of the temples. It is known as ‘the rotunda.’ This imposing structure bridges the past, the present and the future: the past, as it connects with the prehistoric temples and the goddess energy; the present, as it holds the Christ energy in its core, and the future, as it is the opener of the portal of the future where it connects the four natural elements of fire, water, earth and air to the ether. From here we head up to Ta’ Hagrat, a sacred site where energies were anchored and transmitted. Ta’ Hagrat consists of two adjacent temples, the older one dates back to the Ggantija phase (3,600-3,200 BCE). The older temple has a semi-circular façade with a monumental doorway. This leads into a rectangular central court that in turn leads to three semi-circular rooms, one on each side. The second, smaller building is accessed through the eastern room of the larger building, which was modified in antiquity to make space for the second building. After lunch, we journey to Skorba Temples that were excavated in the 1960s. This excavation resulted in the discovery of two temples, that also date back to skorba temples maltathe Ggantija and the Tarxien (3,150-2,500 BCE) phases. Skorba, a space of anchoring of Cosmic energies, was occupied long before the temples were built. The earliest remains consist of a stretch of wall dating back to the Ghar Dalam phase (5,000-4,300 BCE). Remains of wheat, lentil and barley seeds, together with pottery, animal bone and stone tools were found next to this wall. The Skorba temple is probably the most ancient site in Malta and has very powerful energy among the stone circle family. It is possible that the rest of the temple is still buried underground. At the end of this exciting day, we return to St Paul’s Bay for dinner and overnight.

Day 7, Wednesday, May 23: TO MELLIEHA & CRYSTAL CITY (B/L/D)
Today we visit the Sanctuary of our Lady, located at the edge of a hill in the heart of Mellieha. Built in the late 19th century, this church is popular both for pilgrimages and for the magnificent views it offers over Mellieha bay, Gozo and Comino. The older part of the sanctuary still stands today, dating back to the late 16th century. Since then, the chapel’s was enlarged several times. The monumental arch was built in 1719, to honour the blessing of rain after an extended time of drought. The inscription states “In thee have fathers hoped; they hoped and thou hast delivered them.” The crypt was one of the natural caves found in the northern part of Malta. According to crypttradition, the Byzantine style fresco showing the Virgin Mary holding Christ was painted by St. Luke, when he was shipwrecked on the Island together with St. Paul. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in the town of Rabat or Mdina, and after lunch we will visit to the Crystal City Portal accompanied by Francis. Beneath the surface of Gaia is another world called Agartha – the fifth dimensional cities and kingdoms of Inner Earth. Before the great floods inundated the beautiful green-valley which is now the Mediterranean Sea, many of the sages, priests, elders and enlightened masters of Atlantis went to live beneath the Earth’s surface. They went to the Crystal City situated under Maltese soil and sea. The Atlanteans call their crystal city Ashua.ra.ta.ra. Francis and his partner Christine, connected with these 5th D Beings on the 26th May 2010. Christine’s new book The Crystal City of Atlantis – Encountering Ashuata.ta.ra is our discovery of the CC and our encounter with these Beings. On our way back to our hotel, we will also visit the Dingli Cliffs and the chapel dedicated to Mary Magdalene. Diner and overnight at our hotel after a long day.

DAY 8, Thursday, May 24: TO GOZO (B/L/D)
Our morning starts with a ferry ride to the magical island of Gozo, the legendary abode of Calypso. Gozo’s charm is apparent the moment you arrive there and Gozitans have their own individual character and identity, with noticeably different lifestyles, accents and dialect. Here we will visit the Ggantija Prehistoric Temples in Xaghra. Ggantija was a Cosmic healing Center. It connected the human consciousness to Divine mind. Then proceed to Dwejra to see the Fungus Rock and the Inland Sea. After lunch, depart to Xlendi Bay and Marsalforn Bay before we continue to the Citadel and Gozo’s Cathedral in the capital Victoria. If time, we will also pay a visit to the Shrine of Ta Pinu which is said that miraculous recoveries from terminal illnesses happen due to the divine intervention of Our Lady of Ta Pinu. Our day in Gozo also includes a special visit to the breathtaking cliffs of Ta’Cenc, where we will spend time in meditation and connecting with the energies of this sacred place. Ta’Cenc allows cosmic communication. Return to our hotel for dinner and our overnight.

DAY 9, Friday, May 25: FULL DAY AT LEISURE (B/D)
