Pyramids in Bosnia are the highlight of a new tour recently announced by Body Mind Spirit Journeys. The program features tours of the Bosnian pyramids by the man who discovered them, Dr. “Sam” Semir Osmanagich. Dates of the tour are August 30 through September 12, 2014 and participation includes admission to the 2014 “Hidden History Conference” in Sarajevo.
Co-hosts Rev. Marta Thomas and Sandee Mac will present special workshops. In addition, there will be a post-conference tour hosted by Marta Thomas that includes exploring Sarajevo, the Olympic Mountains, Lukomir Village, the caves of Bijambare and Medjugorje. The simple village of Medjugorje rose to worldwide attention in 1981 when six local children said they saw a vision of the Virgin Mary. They explained that in their vision, she identified herself as the Queen of Peace, with a mission of promoting peace as well as telling the world that God does exist.
Rev. Thomas will lead her group from Saint James Church up Apparation Hill to the “Blue Cross,” said to be a place where healings have occurred.
Another highlight of the program will be a visit to the cave of Bijambare. In addition to its natural formations of dramatic stalagmites and stalactites, the cave is also noted for its archaeological finds. Ancient man-made stone tools, skeletons of ancient bears and other animals were also found nearby.
Also on the itinerary are a relaxing soak in a sulfur bath, a visit to a local winery, a hike to beautiful waterfalls, and a visit to Zavidovici, where perfectly spherical stone balls can be seen. These fascinating creations are believed by some to have been made by ancient aliens or the descendants of a civilization that came to earth from the Pleiades.
