A few days ago,\u00a0Travel + Leisure<\/em><\/a>\u00a0published an article on the most underrated places in the world to visit.<\/p>\n

Near the top of that list was a country where Body Mind Spirit Journeys has been sending tour groups for ten years \u2013\u00a0Bosnia and Herzegovina<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

One of the cities,\u00a0Mostar<\/strong>, is older than history itself. Occupied since pre-historic times, Mostar is the former capital of Herzegovina, and is now the country\u2019s fifth largest city.<\/p>\n

The first record mentioning Mostar was written in 1474. In 1566, Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent ordered a stone bridge to be built across Mostar\u2019s Neretva river. That \u201cOld\u201d bridge (photo above) is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.<\/p>\n
