December 31st is the deadline to save up to $148 on our\u00a0Enchanted Ireland, Mysterious Wales<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Sacred Scotland<\/strong>\u00a0small group guided tours.<\/p>\n The photo at the top shows the Gallarus Oretory on Ireland\u2019s Dingle Peninsula, a historic site that dates back to the 7th century. It\u2019s just one of the highlights of our\u00a0April 29 \u2013 May 8 Enchanted Ireland tour<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n We\u2019ll be doing a Druid ceremony on Beltane in the stone circle at the Grange stone circle near Lough Gur. Our group will also explore the Ring of Kerry, the Hill of Tara, and St Brigid\u2019s Holy Well. And no tour of Ireland\u2019s sacred sites would be complete without going to Newgrange and Knowth in the Boyne Valley.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The Welsh legend of Maen Ceti, also known as Arthur\u2019s Stone, is that it started out as a rock that King Arthur found in his shoe. He threw it from the other side of the Loughor Estuary, and by the time it landed, it had grown to its enormous size. The capstone of the huge burial tomb is estimated to weigh 25 to 30 tons. Legend says the stone sometimes goes down to Port Eynon to drink from the sea. Another story is told that if a girl crawls around the stone three times and sees the face of her lover, he will always remain faithful to her.<\/p>\n Our\u00a0May 14 \u2013 23, 2024 Mysterious Wales<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0tour will also visit Tintern Abbey in the Wye Valley, Snowdonia, the Fairy Glen at Betws y Coed, and St David’s Cathedral. Another highlight will be a Druid ceremony at Bryn Celli Ddu on the Isle of Anglesey.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The holy Isle of Iona in Scotland\u2019s Inner Hebrides is known as the birthplace of Scottish Christianity. It was here in AD 563 that Saint Columba and 12 companions sailed from Ireland and founded a monastery. Over the centuries it grew into Iona Abbey, the burial place of at least 60 ancient kings, including Macbeth and Duncan.<\/p>\n In addition to Iona, our\u00a0July 23 \u2013 August 1, 2024 Sacred Scotland<\/strong>\u00a0<\/a>tour will also visit Loch Ness and Rosemarkie Fairy Glen.
