In the Occitanie region in southern France, Alet-les-Bains is more than picturesque and historic. This medieval village is mystical. It’s name means “the Chosen Place,” and such historic characters as Charlemagne and Nostradamus came to Alet because of its healing energies and the “magical elixir water” it is famous for.<\/p>\n
That’s why Kathleen McGowan chose Alet as the destination for a full week’s immersive French experience.
