Safari for the Soul: The Sacred African Trinity
A trilogy of ancient significance exploring the very depths of our origin, this soul safari will unite visitors with the heart of the White Lion, the joyful exuberance of the Bottlenose Dolphin and the timeless wisdom of the African Elephant
We offer you an intimate look at African culture and spirituality. The objective is integration and involvement rather than separation and detachment. While taking a holiday, participants are given an opportunity to gain a new perspective of the world we live in. This expansive experience will bring you to the edge of life itself and return you to your organic and elemental birthright.
Day 1: Arrival in Johannesburg. Travel to The Cottages guesthouse. Welcome gathering. We start our ‘Sacred African Trinity’ Safari with the wildly successful and exciting ‘African Footprints’ dance and music performance at Gold Reef City. Dinner will be enjoyed at a restaurant prior to the performance. Overnight at The Cottages.
Day 2: Morning Tour of Soweto. See the best of the sights and then interact with the children at a local crèche. Help create an indigenous garden with them and share a wholesome, cultural lunch. Return to The Cottages guesthouse for dinner and overnight.
Day 3/4/5: Travel to Panzi Bush Camp situated in the Guernsey Conservancy near Hoedspruit. Here Specialist and author of ‘Mystery of the White Lions: Children of the Sungod’, Linda Tucker, offers an in depth look at these incredible predators. Experienced guides will lead us on meditative bush walks in big five terrain and facilitated drumming sessions in the evenings
Day 6 & 7:Travel to Swaziland where accommodation will be at the Mlilwane Beehive Cultural Village. The following two days offers an interactive experience of the pride Swazi culture, music and art. Daily visits to the House on Fire music & art amphitheatre offers close contact with Swaziland’s most talented artists and musicians.
Day 8: Travel to Kosi Bay in South Africa to then transfer to Ponta D’Ouro in Southern Mozambique for your 3-day swimming with WILD dolphin adventure.
Day 9: Dolphin adventure continues – Includes sound journey, drum sessions, yoga and other activities depending the facilitators.
Day 10: Holistic Dolphin adventure continues.
Day 11:Travel to the Nkonkoni Campsite situated within the Pongola Game Reserve. Spend time interacting with and learning about the African Elephants. Each game drive is an introspective experience facilitated by Mandy Young.
Day 12: Game drives and viewing of the video ‘The Mission’ at White Elephant Lodge.
Day 13: Transfer back to Johannesburg where accommodation will be at The Cottages guesthouse again. The grand finale for our Sacred African Trilogy Safari is a closing ceremony. Dinner at The Cottages.
Day 14: Leisurely breakfast and transfer to Johannesburg International Airport and fly back home.
