TOUR ITINERARY
(B = Breakfast; L = Lunch; D = Dinner)

Day 1, Saturday, September 11: Depart Home / Flight to Bristol Airport
Arrange your own flight reservations for the overnight trip into Bristol’s Airport, making sure that your return flight departs from London’s Heathrow Airport.
Note: Body Mind Spirit Journeys will be happy to assist you with your flight plans.

Day 2, Sunday, September 12: Tour Begins / To Glastonbury / Welcome Dinner (D)
Arrive in Bristol’s Airport by 10:30am to take your transfer. You will be met by your tour representative who will accompany you on the drive through the English countryside. Continue to magical Glastonbury, the site of ancient Avalon. Check into your hotel in the heart of the city, with time to rest and relax before your get-acquainted dinner this evening.

Day 3, Monday, September 13: In Glastonbury / Entrance to Stonehenge / The Chalice Well (B)
After breakfast, it’s off for a special day of sacred journeying as you depart for Stonehenge on the Salisbury Plain, the world's best-known stone monument from the Megalithic Age. Although we will never know exactly who the architects were who planned Stonehenge, the face sculptured into the side of trilithon stone 54 does give us cause to wonder if he or she was so influential that his/her facial features weren’t placed here to be preserved forever. Another theory is that this could also be a representation of the Divine Marriage, the concept of Sacred Marriage between an Earth Mother and Sky Father, a universal theme in early or primitive agricultural- and goddess-oriented societies. One of the great trilithon stones has numerous axes carved into it and another has a mother-goddess type image carved in relief. You then continue to the famous Chalice Well at the foot of the Tor. During the middle Ages, Glastonbury gained a reputation as a place of healing, and pilgrims came to the well to take advantage of its curative powers. The waters of both the Red Spring (or Blood Spring) at Chalice Well and the adjoining White Spring still maintain a reputation for their cleansing, healing and transformative qualities, which you may want to test for yourself. The rest of the afternoon and evening are on your own to enjoy the magnificent gardens or to walk around Glastonbury, and later have dinner on your own at one of the town’s quaint restaurants.

Note: Private meditation in Stonehenge requires a minimum of 20 participants. If less, then there still be a Meditation program, but it will not be private.

Day 4, Tuesday, September 14: In Glastonbury / Local Market Day / Independent Exploration / Farewell Dinner (B/D)
Have Breakfast at your leisure. Today you have a full day for independent exploration. Tuesday is MARKET DAY in Glastonbury and what better way to explore the former island in the Somerset marshes, considered to be the fabled Isle of Avalon of the Grail Legends. For centuries, it has been the gathering place for priests and priestesses of the ancient Druidic and Celtic traditions, as well as one of the holiest places in Christendom. It has also been a megalithic center - a place of the Goddess. The small town of Glastonbury still preserves its long history and rich traditions, uniquely blended with more modern elements, and people are drawn here from all around the globe. You have the entire day for exploration, integration and to explore the local shops and healing centers. Or explore Glastonbury Abbey, where the graves of Arthur and Guinevere are said to have been found. Why not visit St. Mary's Chapel on your own?  Farewell dinner this evening.

Day 5, Wednesday, September 15: To London / London Highlights Tour (B)
You have a leisurely breakfast before a late-morning checkout. By train to London, arriving in the early afternoon, for an introductory tour of London including highlights like Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square and the Houses of Parliament. For dinner on your own, you could choose to enjoy traditional London pub food, to try excellent Indian cuisine, or sample any other cuisine that strikes your fancy this evening.

Day 6, Thursday, September 16: In London / Independent Exploration / Farewell Medieval Banquet (B/D)
Today is a free day with time for lunch and explorations on your own. You might want to visit The Temple of Diana in Central London. The present St. Paul's Cathedral was built on a lunar site traditionally recognized as being ruled by the Moon Goddess and Goddess of Hunting, Diana. The site is also connected with the King Lud, who gave his name to the present day Ludgate Circus and Ludgate Hill, on which St. Paul's Cathedral stands. In the early evening, depart for your special farewell dinner this evening - an Elizabethan banquet located within a 2-minute walk of Tower Bridge for a panoramic view of London. A 4-course banquet, complete with a troupe of entertainers, will engage you with songs and spectacle in authentic period style.

Day 7, Friday, September 17: Tour Ends / Depart London / Return Home (B)
Transfer to London’s Heathrow Airport for your return flight home.
